ABOUT CROFT.

ARTIST • CREATOR • PERFORMER

Jesse Marcos is a mixed media artist exploring identity, memory, and transformation through writing, photography, film, painting, and performance under the alias CROFT. Working across disciplines, his practice moves between personal reflection and worldbuilding, often blurring the boundaries between reality, fiction, and digital culture.

Alongside his artistic practice, Marcos is known for his drag persona Chelsea Croft, another expression within an ongoing exploration of selfhood, storytelling, and becoming.

THE CROFT AGENCY

Starting in 2021 Croft created The Croft Agency together with a friend. The Croft Agency was a full-service entertainment agency for nightlife performers. It provided hosting and organizing of events and booked performers on request for events.

The Croft Agency booked events for Lovelee during Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Amsterdam Pride and Rotterdam Pride. Working together with NO ART, DISKO, PERRON, FERRY, DE MAGISCHE MACHINE, TOTALLY and SUPERWOW.   

In 2021 The Croft Agency co-organized a weekly karaoke night at FERRY every Thursday till 2023. Later the karaoke night would expand to Amsterdam for a weekly night at the BLEND/BLENDXL on Wednesday nights.
